Scandinavian country developer Dimfrost Studios has announced a new repugnance adventure spirited called Bramble: The Mountain Riley B King.

Accompanying the announcement is a trailer that shows off the game's style and animation, including "atmospheric environments, high-end art, medium moments, and casual gameplay", which shows the boy spring across gigantic lilypads and waving to a Brobdingnagian, if apparently friendly, troll.

Here's a delicious little teaser:

Inspired by "the nature, fables, and faggot tales of the Nordics", Bramble: The Mountain King – which is scheduled to release next year on PC and console – sees the boy "befriend curious and strange spirits", not entirely of which will be friendly to our lost travelers.

"Bramble: The Wads King is a horror take a chance set indoors the world of Nordic fables filled with gnomes, trolls, and other creatures," explains the TV description. "You are a young boy baffled in a magical fantasy universe jointly with your senior sister. Before long later arriving, your sister is abducted past a monstrous troll, and you finish alone on a unsafe travel to find her and bring through yourself.

"Without his older sister and model, the shy boy is lost," a press release adds. "He necessarily to rule strength inside of him ready to face all the horror and monsters ahead of him. When he embarks on this journey to reunite with his sister, he also unravels a dark curse that has sickened the world. He soon realizes that something dangerous is lurking in the shadows on a lower floor the mountains."

For now, there's non more other to go on, but the teaser is certainly intriguing, not to the lowest degree because it frequently cuts in reply to the small boy continually stabbing something bloody in the chest of drawers… Yikes.

That's not the only horror word we've had this announcement-jammed weekend, naturally. Yesterday, we learned of a new enlargement coming to World State of war Z – World Warfare Z: Aftermath – which includes an every last-new first-person mode. We too got a wet view the scientific discipline thriller Martha Is Dead, too.
